2rn has, as one of its objectives, the attainment of the highest safety standards and compliance with the requirements of Irish and European legislation in this regard. The company seeks to provide safe working conditions for all of its employees, who have a duty to themselves and to others to co-operate with the company in achieving safety objectives. The company also recognises that, in addition to the employees, it has a responsibility for persons on its premises and it will ensure that they are not exposed to risks to their health and safety. The company is committed to providing, so far as reasonably practicable, a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and to meet our duties to visitors who may be affected by its operations.
In keeping with obligations imposed by law, the company has allocated responsibility for the implementation of health and safety policy, has put in place a consultative structure which will enable all employees to participate in the elaboration and implementation of safety policy, has established a structure for health and safety training both in general terms and in respect of particular identifiable hazards or risks, and has put in place mechanisms to review periodically the effectiveness of the safety policy.
